Job summary

Talent-Merge Pte Ltd seeks an experienced AI/ML engineer to architect and deliver scalable Generative AI and ML solutions that automate and optimise business processes in a Singapore-based environment.

You will work with internal teams to enhance AI applications, leverage LLMs, RAG, vector databases and multi-agent approaches, and deploy robust backend systems and web interfaces for enterprise use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, Data Science, ML or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in developing AI/ML apps, Generative AI, and cloud-based systems, preferably AWS.
• Solid knowledge of LLM frameworks, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and multi-agent tech.
• Proficiency in programming/web tech: TypeScript, C#, SQL, Git, FastAPI, Flask, Express.js, React, Vue.js, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or MicroStrategy.

Job Description

• Work with internal departments to evaluate business processes and uncover opportunities for AI-driven innovation and automation.
  
• Architect and deliver scalable Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions to streamline workflows, enhance productivity and support business decision-making.
  
• Enhance existing AI applications and intelligent automation platforms by incorporating advanced data science techniques and agent-based AI capabilities.
  
• Investigate new developments in Artificial Intelligence, including Large Language Models (LLMs), predictive modelling, anomaly detection and natural language processing, to identify potential applications.
  
• Process and organise complex datasets through data preparation, transformation and feature engineering to support reliable AI model development.
  
• Engineer robust backend systems, APIs and integration components to enable efficient communication between AI models and enterprise applications.
  
• Construct responsive web-based interfaces that allow users to interact effectively with AI-powered tools and intelligent systems.
  
• Leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, embeddings and context engineering techniques to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated outputs.
  
• Administer cloud-hosted AI solutions and containerised environments, ensuring system stability, security compliance and effective deployment.
  
• Conduct application testing, performance assessments and technical troubleshooting while coordinating with stakeholders to refine AI solutions and achieve desired business outcomes.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning or a related technical discipline.
  
• Hands-on experience in developing AI/ML applications, Generative AI solutions and cloud-based systems, preferably using AWS, with exposure to end-to-end software development.
  
• Solid knowledge of LLM frameworks, RAG implementations, vector databases, prompt engineering, context optimisation and multi-agent technologies such as LangChain, LangGraph or DeepAgents.
  
• Technical proficiency in programming and web development technologies, including TypeScript, C#, SQL, Git, FastAPI, Flask, Express.js, React, Vue.js, Docker and Kubernetes, with familiarity in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or MicroStrategy.
  
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and communication abilities, with a proactive approach to learning emerging technologies and explaining technical concepts to business stakeholders.
