Job summary

GO-GENIE PTE. LTD. is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop and implement AI-driven solutions across our internal logistics and operational platforms.

The role focuses on building scalable AI applications that enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows and support data-driven decision-making, working closely with the CTO and COO.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Python, backend development and API integration.
• Hands-on experience developing AI applications using LLMs, RAG or related AI frameworks.
• Good understanding of databases, software development practices, testing and version control.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and independent problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional technical solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• AI Product Development & Engineering: design, build, test and maintain AI-powered applications, services and features for GO-GENIE's internal platforms.
• LLMs, Agentic AI & Intelligent Automation: develop AI solutions using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation and agentic workflows; build intelligent automation to streamline processes.
• Computer Vision & Platform Analytics: develop CV solutions for image recognition and automated validation; build AI-assisted analytics and reporting.
• System Integration & Continuous Improvement: integrate AI into existing systems and support deployment, monitoring and ongoing optimisation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Ownership: collaborate with CTO/COO, product teams and stakeholders; communicate progress and drive improvements.

Role Overview

GO-GENIE is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop and implement AI-driven solutions across our in-house logistics and operational platforms.

The role focuses on building practical, scalable and reliable AI applications that enhance operational efficiency, automate workflows and support data-driven decision-making.

The successful candidate will independently manage assigned technical deliverables, from solution development and testing to system integration and continuous improvement, while collaborating with the CTO, COO and relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Product Development & Engineering
   • Design, build, test and maintain AI-powered applications, services and features for GO-GENIE's internal platforms.
   • Translate business and operational requirements into practical technical solutions.
   • Develop backend services, APIs and integrations to support AI functionalities.
   • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure solutions are scalable, reliable and maintainable.
2. LLMs, Agentic AI & Intelligent Automation
   • Develop AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic workflows.
   • Build intelligent automation capabilities to streamline operational processes and improve productivity.
   • Evaluate and optimise AI model performance, accuracy, response quality and cost efficiency.
   • Implement appropriate safeguards for data security, reliability and human oversight.
3. Computer Vision & Platform Analytics
   • Develop and integrate computer vision solutions for image recognition, operational verification and automated validation.
   • Build AI-assisted analytics and reporting capabilities to support operational insights and decision-making.
   • Work with structured and unstructured data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
4. System Integration & Continuous Improvement
   • Integrate AI solutions into existing systems, databases and operational workflows.
   • Support testing, deployment, monitoring and ongoing optimisation of AI applications.
   • Conduct technical research, feasibility assessments and proof-of-concept development for new AI initiatives.
   • Maintain technical documentation and follow established development and security standards.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Technical Ownership
   • Collaborate with the CTO, COO, product team and relevant stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver agreed solutions.
   • Independently manage assigned development tasks, technical investigations and project deliverables.
   • Communicate technical progress, risks, dependencies and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
   • Support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement of GO-GENIE's AI capabilities.
