Job summary

NIE invites suitable candidates to join the Division of Academic Computing & Information Services as an Analyst Programmer on a 25-month contract in Singapore. You will design, develop, test, and implement application systems to meet user requirements and project timelines, while exploring AI-driven features to enhance the student digital experience.

The role requires a degree in CS/IT, at least 3 years of software development and IT project management experience, and knowledge of SDLC/Agile,

Qualifications

University degree in Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of software development and IT project management experience.
Sound understanding of student and examination-related business processes.
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency in .Net programming and API integration.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and implement application systems based on user requirements and project timelines.
Find opportunities to design and implement AI-driven features to enhance the student digital experience.
Modernize student information systems using current stacks and AI-assisted development.
Maintain and enhance in-house applications to ensure optimal performance and UX.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for deployment and integration.
Ensure high code quality, test coverage, and participate in code reviews.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications as needed.
Independently manage IT projects from initiation to completion.
Ensure compliance with Data Governance, IT Audit, and Security policies.
