Job summary

National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore seeks an Analyst Programmer for a 25-month contract to design, develop and implement systems. You’ll explore AI-driven features, modernize student information systems, and ensure high quality code and tests across projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams, manage projects end-to-end, and ensure compliance with data governance, IT audit, and security standards.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant software development and IT project management experience.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement application systems based on user requirements and timelines.
• Explore AI-driven features to enhance student digital experience.
• Modernize student information systems with latest tech stacks and AI-assisted development.
• Maintain and enhance in-house applications for performance and UX.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for deployment and integration.
• Ensure code quality, test coverage, and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade applications as needed.
• Independently manage IT projects from initiation to completion.
• Ensure compliance with Data Governance, IT Audit, and Security policies.
