Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking a maintenance engineer to troubleshoot and repair electro‑mechanical equipment on the manufacturing line. You will dismantle, repair and reassemble equipment following drawings and manuals, and perform checkouts with test equipment.

Knowledge of AI tools and AI-enabled practices is encouraged; semiconductor process knowledge is preferred. The role requires a 12‑hour rotating shift and on-site work at the MSB facility.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic) preferred.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes preferred.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
• Knowledge of AI tools and application.
• Leveraging AI proficiency or AI-enabled ways of working where applicable.
