MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Smart Systems Engineer to lead system solutions across the semiconductor manufacturing environment including HBM, ComponentAssembly & Test, and SSD operations in Singapore.

You will drive performance, data analytics, and AI-enabled improvements in collaboration with IT and business users. The role emphasizes problem analysis, software development, vendor management, and training/mentorship to raise efficiency, quality, and cost

Qualifications

Master's/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or Computing.
Familiar with AI technologies and tools (M365 Copilot); AI agent creation is an advantage.
Proficient in Python, C#, ASP.NET, SQL, Angular, HTML, etc.
Knowledge of database technologies (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Snowflake).
Strong familiarity with software development methodologies and the SDLC.
Experience with Git and collaboration tools.
Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
Effective communicator, able to collaborate across levels.
Growth mindset with continuous learning focus.
Internship or semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
Demonstrated leadership and impact are highly desirable.
Interest in semiconductor industry and Micron.

Responsibilities

Provide solutions to meet operational needs to drive down manufacturing cost and cycle time while improving yield and quality.
Explore opportunities to introduce AI-powered analytics and automation tools to improve efficiency.
Conceptualize, plan, and improve user interaction by analyzing application performance and user experience.
Build user interfaces using data insights, with visual and functional elements for easy access.
Develop and maintain software applications using Micron-approved languages and tools for reliability and portability.
Analyze gaps and introduce measures to improve efficiency; stay updated on AI technologies.
Apply project management to lead projects; collaborate with business users and IT to define requirements.
Coordinate and manage health of databases; establish backup/recovery requirements; maintain documentation.
Own and govern assigned enterprise applications as system lead for availability and performance.
Provide leadership and mentorship; develop training materials and train peers.
Integrates AI-assisted tools into daily work to improve efficiency and quality.
