in Singapore is offering a Digital Engineering and Simulation Intern role to support the R&D team on design for additive manufacturing, optimization, and AI-enabled engineering workflows. You will perform FEM/CFD analyses, validate results with experiments, and collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into simulation-driven solutions, under the guidance of the Senior Manager (Modeling & Simulation).

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering or Applied Physics.
• Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and mechanical design.
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Creo, SpaceClaim, Rhino 3D, or nTopology.
• Experience with FEM/CFD using Ansys, Abaqus, Comsol, OpenFOAM or similar, and topology optimization.
• Knowledge of computational design, machine learning, additive manufacturing, and coding (Python, C++).
• Positive attitude and passion for simulation-driven design.

Responsibilities

• Work on product optimization projects under engineering supervision.
• Support AI-native engineering initiatives for design optimization and data-driven decisions.
• Perform FEM/CFD analyses as required.
• Validate simulation results with experimental data.
• Interact with product development teams on design requirements.
• Present solutions to engineering and management teams.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations.
