Job summary

Univers is offering an AI Forward Deployed Engineering (AI FDE) Intern role in Singapore. You will collaborate with AI scientists, engineers, and product teams to turn real-world challenges into clear AI use cases, prototype solutions, and support production-ready implementations across industries.

You will gain hands-on experience with foundation models, multimodal AI, and modern AI engineering, while learning from experienced professionals and contributing to the full lifecycle from research

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in CS/Engineering/AI/DS/EE
• Strong Python programming; PyTorch preferred
• Technical background in ML, LLMs, CV, multimodal AI, agentic systems
• Experience through coursework, research, internships is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written/verbal communication and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with AI scientists and engineers to develop AI prototypes and PoCs.
• Explore modern AI tech including LLMs, CV, multimodal AI, agents, and AI engineering techniques.
• Build AI applications and intelligent workflows using enterprise data.
• Assist in evaluating and integrating foundation models for domain-specific apps.
• Translate complex problems into clear technical solutions with guidance.
• Contribute to experiments, model evaluation, benchmarking, and rapid prototyping.
• Work with product teams and domain experts throughout solution lifecycle.
• Document, demo, and share knowledge across teams.
• Learn emerging AI technologies and apply them to real problems.
