Job summary

Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced engineer to lead AI-based autonomous control feasibility studies and identify suitable use cases for autonomous control across the region.

The role includes supporting business development for AI-based autonomous control solutions, conducting high-level feasibility studies for APC and RTO opportunities, drafting technical solution proposals, and training country sales teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of process relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Materials, or Life Sciences.
• Strong knowledge of APC, RTO, OTS or AI controller.
• Experience in supporting sales or deploying digital solutions, such as APC, RTO, AI-based autonomous controller, OTS, process digital twin.
• Experience in pre-sales activities or proposal development will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AI-based autonomous control feasibility study, and recommend the suitable use case for autonomous control
• Support business development for AI-based autonomous controlsolutions to grow AI business in the region.
• Conduct high level feasibility study for Advance Process Control and Real Time Optimization opportunities and support business development for APC and RTO.
• Provide technical guidance to the sales engineering team by drafting solution proposals from technical perspectives.
• Train and guide country sales.
