Job summary

Yokogawa Engineering Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore invites an experienced Advanced Process Control Engineer to deliver lifecycle support for APC solutions in industrial plants. You will translate customer requirements into APC applications using model-based and multivariable control, and you will oversee planning, testing, FAT/SAT, commissioning and performance monitoring.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Control, Automation Engineering, or related.
Min 5 years in process control, automation, or process optimization in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Process Industries. May consider fewer years.
Min 3 years hands-on with DCS, PLC, and OPC.
Strong knowledge of PID, feedback and multivariable control.
Experience APC, modelling, tuning, troubleshooting and optimization preferred.
Willingness to travel within Southeast Asia for project implementation and customer support.

Responsibilities

Deliver and provide lifecycle support for APC solutions for industrial process plants.
Understand customer process requirements and develop APC applications using model-based and multivariable control technologies.
Execute project planning, application engineering, control strategy development, configuration, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and performance monitoring.
Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, DCS engineers, and customers to improve plant stability, throughput, energy efficiency, product quality, and overall operational performance.
