Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an AI/Data Science Intern to contribute to AI-enabled device characterization automation and intelligent engineering workflows.

You will apply AI/ML concepts to automate data collection, analysis, and reporting within a NAND Device Engineering context. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS/DS/AI with strong Python skills and hands-on ML experience.

Qualifications

• Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience developing data analysis, automation, or software solutions.
• Knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, data science, or Artificial Intelligence concepts through coursework, projects, or research activities.
• Familiarity with data processing libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, or similar technologies.
• Exposure to data visualization, dashboard development, database technologies, or workflow automation platforms is desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, communication skills, self-motivation, and interest in AI-Enabled engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design AI-Enabled workflows to automate device characterization data collection and reporting.
• Apply ML techniques to identify performance trends and classify device behaviors.
• Develop automated data pipelines for extraction, cleansing, and feature engineering.
• Create interactive dashboards and AI Assistant capabilities for engineers.
• Evaluate Generative AI and LLMs for automation and knowledge retrieval.
