Job summary

Sun Venture is seeking an IT Manager to act as the single point of contact for day-to-day IT operations and the technology roadmap. You will oversee infrastructure reliability, security, and alignment with business goals, while managing vendors and budgets.

You will own the Microsoft Fabric data platform, orchestrate security controls, disaster recovery, and data governance. The role includes leading IT projects, onboarding datasets, and supporting AI tool adoption across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT/CS or related field required or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of progressive IT infrastructure/operations management experience.
• 2+ years in a financial services environment preferred.
• Hands-on with M365, Azure, and Intune; production experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of APIs and SaaS integrations; strong vendor management.
• Excellent communication translating tech to business terms.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor identification, contracting, and performance oversight; manage IT budget.
• Own security controls, incident response, patching, DR/BCP testing.
• Own Microsoft Fabric data platform; manage capacity and security.
• Onboard datasets; support self-service analytics and governance.
• Ensure secure devices and productivity tools; oversee onboarding/offboarding.
• Drive IT projects as product owner and escalation point for integrations.
• Champion firmwide AI adoption; evaluate tools and set usage standards.
• Maintain IT policy suite, risk register, and regular management reports.
