Job summary

ByteDance's Global Payment team seeks backend engineers to build AI-driven infrastructure. You will design and operate robust foundations, focusing on scalable architectures, fault tolerance, and platform automation to support intelligent systems on production.

You will collaborate with payment product, risk, compliance, finance, SRE, and global engineering teams to ensure secure, resilient, and performant services across markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in AI/CS/Software Engineering or above.
• Strong programming skills in Go, Java, C++, or Python.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OS, networking and databases.
• Good problem-solving skills, ownership mindset and clear communication.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification(s):- Bachelor's degree or above in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Software Engineering

• - Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, networking, and databases
• - Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset, and be able to write and present clearly
• - Good cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
• - Preferred Qualification(s):- Experience in AI infrastructure, machine learning platforms and intelligent systems engineering
• - Experience in payments, fintech, transaction platforms, banking integrations, or financial infrastructure
• - Experience building and operating distributed systems in production environments
