Job summary

Google Asia Pacific is seeking a seasoned communications leader to shape global and regional narratives across media, partners, and stakeholders in Singapore. You will drive high-impact strategies, blending traditional PR with AI-enabled storytelling and data-driven insights.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage remote agencies, and navigate fast-changing public policy issues, delivering clear, culturally resonant messages across APAC markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in communications, public relations, media relations, or executive communications field.

Responsibilities

• Integrate generative AI tools into daily workflow to scale operational efficiency, enhance creativity, and drive data-backed storytelling while upholding Google's AI Principles.
• Respond to media inquiries and work with journalists to support favorable angles, utilizing AI-driven sentiment analysis to protect and promote Google's reputation across projects.
• Drive the development of high-quality communications plans, pitches, and social copy, using technology to streamline and localize global narratives with cultural nuance.
• Establish clear campaign measurement criteria and use AI insights to analyze trends, predict sentiment, and deliver strategic recommendations that refine external communications.
• Act as a product expert, manage remote PR agencies and their budgets, and partner with regional teams to navigate crisis communications and major initiative coverage.
