Job summary

ThunderSoft in Singapore seeks an experienced Software Engineer to build automation, data analytics, and AI-assisted productivity solutions for Semiconductor Test Development workflows.

You will craft Python-based scripts, dashboards, and data pipelines, and validate tools to ensure reliability. The role includes prototyping LLM-based workflows and collaborating with engineers to iterate on practical prototypes for reuse.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field such as Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Strong programming skills, preferably Python, with scripting, automation, data processing and practical tool development.
• Experience with software testing/validation practices (unit/integration/regression).
• Practical knowledge of AI tools, prompt engineering, LLM-based workflows, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation.

Responsibilities

• Build Python-based scripts, automation tools, lightweight apps, dashboards, and data workflows for semiconductor test development.
• Design and validate tools, automation workflows, dashboards, and AI-assisted outputs for reliability and maintainability.
• Analyze engineering data, logs, test results, and metrics to identify trends and insights.
• Prototype AI-assisted tools, LLM-based apps, RAG/knowledge assistants, automation agents for engineering teams.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, iterate on prototypes, and document reusable solutions.
