Job summary

Manus AI is seeking an experienced backend engineer to own user-facing features end to end, from requirements and design to frontend/backend development, testing, rollout, and continuous iteration.

You will design and implement backend services and APIs, ensure reliability and scalability, and push AI-native capabilities with Agent and LLM adoption. The role emphasizes performance, security, and observability in high-concurrency environments.

Qualifications

• CS-related degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing backend applications and delivering to production.
• Familiarity with Protobuf and RPC frameworks; API design and error handling.
• Experience with MySQL/Redis and data modeling; performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Independently own user-facing features end to end from requirements to rollout and iteration.
• Design and build backend services and APIs for reliability and scalability.
• Identify business opportunities with an AI-native mindset and drive Agent/LLM adoption.
