Job summary

Applied Intelligence Consulting (Singapore) seeks an AI Algorithm Engineer to develop production AI systems based on LLMs, VLMs, and multimodal models. Mandarin is required for close collaboration with engineering and research teams in China.

You will design and implement agentic AI capabilities, foundation model training steps, and evaluation frameworks, translating research into robust production software used globally.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in CS, AI, ML, Math, or related fields.
• Approximately 3–5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, VLMs and multimodal foundation models.
• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, RAG and agent architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop production AI systems based on LLMs, VLMs, and multimodal foundation models.
• Design algorithms to understand signals across text, images, video, and audio.
• Build scalable multimodal intelligence for content understanding and decision-making.
• Enhance semantic understanding, classification, retrieval, and reasoning across content formats.
• Participate in model training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
• Translate research into production-ready AI services used at scale.
