Job summary

Huawei is seeking an AI Agent Researcher to build agent prototypes for specialized scenarios using an in-house framework. You will translate research into usable prototypes and contribute to open-source projects. Qualifications

• Ph.D. in AI, CS, Mathematics, or related fields with strong research track record.
• Awards or notable contributions (ICPC/IOI or high-impact open-source) are a plus.
• Hands-on experience building agent systems and familiarity with agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Build Agent prototypes for specific vertical scenarios (e.g., code generation, WebAgent, GUI interaction) based on our in-house Agent framework, driving the effective deployment of innovative technologies in real business settings.
• Explore next-generation key technologies in the Agent domain, rapidly translating research outcomes into technical prototypes, and contributing results to the open-source community.
• Author high-quality technical papers on Agent memory, Multi-Agent Systems, Agent self-evolution, and related fields, with submissions to top-tier conferences and open-source contributions.
• Keep following the latest technology in AI Agents, Multi-Agent Systems, Agent self-evolution, and Embodied AI across academia and industry, pushing for the innovation on cutting-edge algorithms.

Skills / Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in AI, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields. Exceptional candidates with awards such as ICPC/IOI or significant contributions to high-impact open-source projects is a plus;
• Familiarity with mainstream Agent frameworks or products such as Openclaw, Hermes, and LangChain, with hands-on experience in building Agent systems independently.
• Prior publications in top AI conferences (e.g., ACL, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) is a strong plus.
• Solid programming skills, with proficiency in at least one major language such as Python, TypeScript, Java, or Go.
