Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking a Trade Operations Executive to manage the execution of physical agricultural commodity contracts, coordinate shipments, documentation and payments, and ensure deliveries meet contractual requirements. You will review contracts, track shipments, liaise with suppliers, buyers, shipping lines and banks, and maintain precise records to support timely settlements.

The role requires a Diploma or degree and 2–3 years of related experience; familiarity with Incoterms and

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or related discipline.
2–3 years of experience in commodity trade operations or shipping coordination.
Familiarity with Incoterms, shipping documentation and letters of credit.

Responsibilities

Manage trade execution from contract confirmation through to delivery and settlement.
Review contracts for quantities, specifications, shipment periods and payment terms.
Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, shipping companies, freight forwarders and inspection agencies.
Monitor shipment schedules and resolve delays or operational discrepancies.
Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices and certificates.
Coordinate documentary submissions and letter of credit requirements with finance teams.
