Job summary

Helius Technologies in Singapore is seeking an experienced Agile Governance & Insights Coach to support Agile governance, delivery analytics, squad performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across technology teams.

The role focuses on Jira-based reporting, data analysis, Agile metrics, governance dashboards, and turning delivery data into actionable insights while collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/IT/Engineering/Data Analytics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and JQL.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Ability to translate delivery data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery metrics and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Support Agile governance across squads and portfolios.
• Extract, validate, and analyse delivery data from Jira.
• Create and maintain JQL queries, filters, dashboards, and reports.
• Use Excel for data analysis, trend tracking, and management reporting.
• Monitor metrics such as velocity, cycle time, backlog health, defects and WIP.
• Identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities with Scrum Masters/POs.
• Support Agile maturity assessments and squad improvement plans.

Agile Governance & Insights Coach

Role Overview

We are looking for an Agile Governance & Insights Coach to support Agile governance, delivery analytics, squad performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across technology teams.

The role will focus on Jira-based reporting, data analysis, Agile metrics, governance dashboards, and identifying squad improvement opportunities. The individual will work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Agile Coaches, and delivery teams to translate delivery data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Agile governance across squads and portfolios.


• Extract, validate, and analyse delivery data from Jira.


• Create and maintain JQL queries, filters, dashboards, and reports.


• Use Excel for data analysis, trend tracking, and management reporting.


• Monitor Agile delivery metrics such as predictability, velocity, cycle time, spillover, capacity utilization, backlog health, defects, and work-in-progress.


• Identify squad performance trends, delivery risks, and improvement opportunities.


• Work with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to understand root causes and track improvement actions.


• Support Agile maturity assessments and squad improvement plans.


• Improve consistency, accuracy, and data quality across Jira and Agile reporting.


• Support governance reviews, leadership reporting, and continuous improvement discussions.


• Provide guidance on Scrum, Kanban, backlog management, and other Agile practices.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban.


• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and JQL.


• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.


• Good data analysis and analytical thinking skills.


• Ability to convert delivery data into clear and actionable insights.


• Good understanding of Agile delivery metrics and reporting.


• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.


• Good problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.


• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple squads and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Agile delivery, Agile governance, Scrum Master support, Agile PMO, delivery analytics, project governance, or similar roles.


• Exposure to Power BI or similar visualization tools is advantageous.


• Experience preparing Agile dashboards and management reports.


• Exposure to software development or technology delivery environments.


• Agile certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP is an advantage but not mandatory.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of a specific degree.
