GlobalFoundries is seeking a motivated intern to join the Digital Manufacturing Agentic AI/LLM team in Singapore. You will help build practical AI-powered applications, intelligent assistants, and agent-based workflows that enhance engineering productivity and decision-making in semiconductor manufacturing.

This internship blends software engineering, Generative AI, data integration, and exposure to real manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and develop Agentic AI and LLM-powered applications for Digital Manufacturing use cases.
• Develop and test backend services using Python, Flask or similar frameworks, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Create simple, responsive user interfaces using JavaScript or TypeScript and frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Connect AI applications to approved manufacturing data sources, APIs, dashboards, and enterprise systems.
• Evaluate LLM responses for accuracy, relevance, grounding, safety, and usefulness; document findings and improvement opportunities.
• Create reusable prompts, components, services, and workflow patterns across multiple use cases.
• Use Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices to deliver changes safely.
• Prepare clear technical documentation, demonstration materials, and a final internship presentation.

You will work with software engineers, data scientists, and manufacturing subject matter experts to turn business needs into usable prototypes and production-ready capabilities.
