Job summary

HP Singapore invites college interns to join the Agentic AI Engineering team for a 5–6 month full-time internship beginning January 2027. You will collaborate with senior engineers on AI prompting, hardware design, testing and notebook AI PC components, while prototyping and configuring test units.

You will collect data, analyze results, and report findings to the team, working closely with software, mechanical and electrical engineers to drive cohesive product development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS in CS or CE or related field.
• Commitment for 5–6 months full-time starting January 2027.
• Passion for AI and hardware technologies and a growth mindset.
• Teamwork, communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior hardware engineers on design, testing and validation of notebook AI PC components.
• Assist in AI prompting, AI applications, and problem resolution with root cause analysis.
• Prototype new notebook designs, assemble and configure test units, and diagnose hardware issues.
• Collect data, generate reports and present findings to the engineering team.
• Work cross-functionally with software, mechanical and electrical teams; conduct market research on hardware tech.
