Job summary

NCS Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Engineer with strong data engineering expertise to join a mission-critical public safety project in Singapore. You will design and deploy RAG pipelines, metadata-driven catalogs, and sovereign agent workflows to empower data-driven decision-making for public sector stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on AI/ML engineering or data science experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in delivery of complex AI projects end‑to‑end in a professional services, consulting, or SI environment.
• Demonstrable agentic AI project experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy autonomous agent workflows using LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
• Develop high-throughput data transformation pipelines with Python and dbt.
• Query data with Starburst, Apache Iceberg, Apache Arrow, and DuckDB.
• Design metadata schemas and governance with OpenMetadata.
• Ensure secure access control using Cedar in restricted public sector infrastructure.
