Job summary

Accenture is expanding its agentic delivery capability within Health and Public Services and seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join the team in Singapore. This hands-on, client-facing role designs and implements agentic systems with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents to improve public service delivery.

Qualifications

• 4–8+ years of software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; comfortable client-facing work.
• Hands-on experience developing agentic systems with LLMs, tool use, function calling, multi-step reasoning, and orchestration.
• Proficient in Python, Java, React and/or TypeScript.
• Experience designing evaluation and guardrail mechanisms for non-deterministic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy agentic systems (single and multi-agent) to automate key aspects of public service delivery.
• Develop reference architectures, tools, and reusable patterns for agentic delivery in public sector contexts.
• Create robust evaluation frameworks, observability tools, and guardrails to ensure safe, reliable production behavior.
• Establish governance for autonomy levels, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and escalation protocols in regulated environments.
• Select and integrate technologies for each use case (agent harnesses, cloud agents, orchestration frameworks).
• Coach delivery teams on agentic engineering best practices and contribute to capability maturity.
