Job summary

RecruitFirst is seeking a caring, responsible and energetic Student Care Teacher to join a well-established centre in the West Coast area of Singapore. You will support Primary 1–6 students with homework, manage the class, and ensure a safe, engaging after-school environment.

The role involves guiding students, conducting programmes, coordinating pick-ups, and communicating with parents about progress while assisting with centre operations. Training will be provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have A-Level, Diploma or WSQ Student Care certification or higher.
• Able to guide Primary School subjects, including Chinese.
• Passionate about working with and mentoring children.

Responsibilities

• Guide Primary 1–6 students with daily homework and schoolwork.
• Conduct engaging activities and character development programmes.
• Manage the classroom and create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
• Support student pick-ups from nearby schools and ensure safe arrival at the centre.
• Communicate with parents and guardians on students' progress and behaviour.
• Assist with centre administrative duties and general upkeep.
• Support other centre activities and duties when required.
