Job summary

TALENTVIS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence in a large-scale manufacturing environment. You will lead CI projects leveraging Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen while collaborating with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other teams.

Ideal candidates bring engineering education, manufacturing experience, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills, with ability to train others and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline (Manufacturing/Industrial/Business Process & Systems Engineering).
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills across functions.
  • Self-motivated, proactive with initiative to drive CI.
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support CI projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen.
  • Analyze processes to identify productivity and quality improvements.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to establish baselines.
  • Facilitate RCA and implement corrective/preventive actions.
  • Conduct VSM, time studies and process capability analysis.
  • Drive 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work and Poka-Yoke.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and conduct training on CI tools and methodologies.
  • Promote CI culture and employee participation.
  • Monitor effectiveness of implemented improvements.

Job description

About the role

We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to support operational excellence and process improvement initiatives within a large-scale manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and support cross-functional Continuous Improvement (CI) projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies
  • Analyze manufacturing and business processes to identify opportunities for productivity, quality and process improvements
  • Collect and analyze operational data to establish baselines and measure performance
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct Value Stream Mapping (VSM), time studies and process capability analysis
  • Drive implementation of 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work and Mistake-Proofing (Poka-Yoke)
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Quality and other stakeholders on improvement initiatives
  • Develop and conduct training on Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies
  • Promote employee participation and support the development of a strong Continuous Improvement culture
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements
About you
  • Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Business Process & Systems Engineering
  • Relevant experience within a manufacturing / production environment is advantageous
  • Good knowledge or exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different functions and levels
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the initiative to drive Continuous Improvement activities
  • Ability to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams
