Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking an engineer for the Aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul domain. You will participate in engine pre-induction meetings, draft teardown work scopes, and support teardown with the operations team.

You will document conditions, draft reports with TSE, and assist in improvement projects. The role requires a diploma in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 2+ years in aerospace MRO, strong communication, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of experience in Aerospace Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul.
• Team-oriented with ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Experience in root cause analysis and technical problem-solving.
• Able to interpret and draft technical reports.
• Effective communicator with strong technical writing and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Attend engine pre-induction meeting for scheduled engines shop visits.
• Draft engine teardown work scopes based on pre-induction assessments.
• Attend to engine teardown and perform dirty inspection review with the operations team.
• Document engine parts conditions and upload findings to the server.
• Draft and review teardown reports with Technical Service Engineer (TSE).
• Verify and resolve technical issues with TSE.
• Assist in engineering driven improvement projects.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors on equipment upgrades and modifications when necessary.
• Perform any related duties as directed by the supervisor.
