Job summary

Singapore Component Solutions Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Aerospace Technician (mechanical) to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance while optimizing delays and costs and adhering to quality, safety and environmental procedures.

Responsibilities include executing maintenance orders, testing with precision tools, documenting abnormalities, dismantling/reassembling equipment per manuals, and preparing technical quotations. CAAS examination papers and a strong cooperative spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Technology
• Possess the relevant CAAS examination papers
• Good Attitude
• Teamwork Spirit

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance operations in accordance to work order and customer’s order
• Control, test and measure with metrological tools (CMM, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes)
• Inform Engineering of abnormalities
• Disassemble equipment per documentation and CMM
• Wash and strip parts
• Prepare a technical quotation for refurbishing: labour, materials, delays
• Order substitution of elements and reassemble per CMM after customer consent
• Transmit equipment file to Certifying staff
• Prepare documents for traceability of repaired equipment
• Adhere to Safety Standards for aircraft components
• Ensure clean workspace
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
