Job summary

GOODRICH AEROSPACE PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a skilled technician to perform cell-level assembly, inspection and testing in line with the Component Maintenance Manual.

You will read technical manuals in English, use standard measuring tools, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve issues. Training is provided; SAP familiarity is a plus, and aviation experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma/NITEC or higher in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electronics or aerospace-related.
• Able to read and understand English; read technical manuals and drawings.
• SAP literacy is preferred; training provided for aviation work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform cell-level work to meet the production schedule.
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, inspect, troubleshoot and test per CM.
• Update repair cost estimates promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisor and support staff to resolve issues.
• Adhere to AS9110C/Part 145 quality requirements.
• Read measuring tools (torque wrench, calipers, micrometers, bore/depth gauges).
• Comply with EH&S and export control regulations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies (Ethics, EHS, Trade).
• Participate in process improvement and EHS activities.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Perform work at cell level to meet the production schedule.
• Assemble, disassemble, perform minor cleaning, inspect, troubleshoot, and test in accordance with Component Maintenance Manual.
• Promptly resolve issue and ensure all repair cost estimates are updated accurately.
• Work in close cooperation with supervisor and other support personnel to resolve problems as when necessary.
• Adhere to Quality Management System (e.g. AS9110C / Airworthiness Part 145 requirement)
• Understand the use of common measuring equipment like torque wrench, calipers, micrometers, bore and depth gauges.
• Complies with all Environment, Health & Safety policies, and regulations
• Complies with all US and Singapore Export Control Regulations
• Ensure full compliance to all required local regulations and corporate requirements, especially in the areas of Ethics, EHS and International Trade Compliance
• Actively participate in process improvement and environmental, health and safety activities.

Requirements

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics/ other Aerospace related courses)
• Personnel with passed in Air legislation CAAS/ EASA papers L12/ L11/ M10, or other industry related qualifications would have added advantage.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• To read and work from technical and service manuals, technical orders, sales orders, specification, drawings, and other written instructions.
• Computer literacy (Knowledge in SAP will be preferred).
• Good communication skills needed, both oral and written.
