Job summary

Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer to oversee engineering performance, process capability, and technical integrity for an assigned production cell in Singapore. You will develop methods, validate tooling, and drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, cost, and productivity, collaborating with Operations and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline.
• Candidates with a relevant Diploma and significant industry experience will be considered.
• Experience in an aerospace MRO or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related digital tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within cross-functional teams.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing methods, work instructions, and process standards for the assigned production cell.
• Ensure technical documentation, tooling, and manufacturing systems remain current, compliant, and audit-ready.
• Conduct and maintain engineering assurance activities, including PFMEA, MSA, and audit requirements.
• Provide timely engineering support to resolve manufacturing and process-related issues.
• Lead investigations arising from quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Assess manufacturing risks and escalate issues when necessary.
• Ensure all process changes are evaluated, validated, documented, and controlled before implementation.
• Own and drive the engineering improvement roadmap, and identify initiatives to boost safety, quality, productivity, and throughput.
