Job summary

RTX, through its Pratt & Whitney business, invites applications for a hands-on Engine Test Technician role in Singapore. The position involves rig, test and derig of engines in a test cell, disassembly/assembly of modules, and strict adherence to SOPs to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering background and 2+ years in engine testing or related tasks. You will support production targets, participate in EH&S programs, and may work rotating Day/Night shifts

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline is required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in engine testing, module assembly, disassembly or inspection is expected.
• Good understanding of technical drawing and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform rig, test and derig of engine in a test cell environment.
• Operate machinery, equipment, and tools to perform assembly, disassembly, and inspection of engines, modules, components, and accessories.
• Interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during daily operations to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support the Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in achieving production targets and meeting operational targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders as required.
• Actively participate in EH&S programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of ethics and compliance.
