Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Singapore is seeking an Engine Test Technician to perform rig, test and derig operations in a test cell, assemble and inspect engines, and follow SOPs for safety and quality. Shift rotation and overtime may be required. The successful candidate will work closely with cell leaders, utilize SAP to manage work orders, and participate in EH&S initiatives while contributing

Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Min 2 years of relevant engine testing/assembly/inspection experience.
• Good understanding of technical drawings and manuals.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented and hands-on.
• Proactive learner with growth mindset.
• Willing to work rotating Day & Night shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform rig, test and derig of engine in a test cell environment.
• Operate machinery, equipment, and tools to assemble, disassemble, and inspect engines and components.
• Interpret and follow SOPs to ensure consistency and compliance with technical standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Support Assistant Foremen and Cell Leaders in achieving production targets.
• Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders.
• Participate in EH&S programs and continuous improvement activities.
