Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Engineer for Engine / Product Repair to oversee technical aspects of aircraft engine repair and support existing processes. You will review OEM manuals, design repair fixtures, and contribute to capability assessments.

Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with 2+ years in engine maintenance. The role is on-site at Airport Road, offers a 5-day week, 8:00–17:30, and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical specifications and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical aspects of aircraft engine product and component repair processes.
• Provide technical support for existing repair processes, including reviewing technical manual discrepancies and proposing alternative repair solutions where necessary.
• Review and interpret OEM and customer technical publications, including Engine Shop Manuals (ESM), Service Bulletins (SB) and industrial specifications.
• Design, review and evaluate repair fixtures, jigs and tools required for production.
• Conduct technical evaluations of tooling and consumable alternatives to ensure compliance with engineering requirements.
• Support the introduction of new repair processes through First Article inspections and capability assessments.
• Prepare, review and update technical worksheets and repair documentation.
• Oversee and provide technical support for specialised repair processes and related equipment.
• Develop, review and improve process parameters, specifications and production methods to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
• Review OEM and customer technical publications to ensure repair processes comply with relevant requirements.
• Prepare equipment maintenance procedures and process risk assessments for new equipment and processes.
• Investigate product and process quality failures, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities on process-related regulatory requirements where necessary.
