Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly qualified AI researcher to advance core capabilities in an advertising system.

The role focuses on AI infrastructure, ML/DL, NLP, LLM, and generative AI to enhance ad recommendations and monetization. You will design and optimize bidding environments, analyze data, and collaborate with product and operations teams to iterate algorithms through A/B testing, driving advertiser ROI and user experience while staying at the cutting edge of AI

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in CS/DS/Applied Mathematics or related fields.
• Strong foundations in data structures and algorithms with ML/DL/NLP/LLM/Big Data or related areas.
• Proficient in Python, Java, C++, or SQL; hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• 1–3 years of in-depth research or industrial project experience in AI, ads, or recommendations preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze large datasets for root causes.
• Interest in AI, recommendations, mechanism design, and generative AI in advertising.
• Strong communication, independence, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing core capabilities for the advertising system, including AI infrastructure and algorithms.
• Contribute to design of game-theoretic mechanisms for ad bidding and optimize environments.
• Optimize ad engine mechanisms like bidding ranking and cold-start strategies.
• Research AI technologies such as AI Agents, NLP, LLM, CV, and Generative AI for ad creatives.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to refine recommendation algorithms through A/B testing.
