Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an Ads Solutions Engineer to partner with advertisers and agencies through pre-sales and growth stages. You will act as the technical expert, translating advertiser objectives into scalable measurement, integration, and activation solutions on the OpenAI ads platform.

This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams to remove blockers, accelerate revenue growth, and shape the platform’s future.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical account management in adtech/martech.
• Hands-on experience with digital advertising measurement, pixels, conversion APIs, mobile measurement, identity solutions, or CRM/data integrations.
• Knowledge of advertiser ecosystems including tag managers, CDPs, analytics tools, attribution platforms, and data warehouses.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
• Experience writing SQL, using APIs, debugging implementations, or working with structured datasets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client Partners during the sales cycle to provide technical expertise.
• Lead technical discovery with advertisers and agencies to understand data flows, martech stack, and measurement goals.
• Design and recommend implementation approaches for pixels, APIs, server-to-server integrations, identity solutions, offline conversions, and measurement frameworks.
• Guide onboarding and launch readiness, ensuring tracking, attribution, audience signals, and reporting are set up.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to implementation, signal quality, delivery, and measurement performance.
• Create demos, proofs of concept, and technical narratives to showcase OpenAI’s ads solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to address issues and influence roadmaps.
• Create documentation, playbooks, and best practices to scale advertiser adoption globally.
• Help train internal sales and success teams on technical capabilities.
