Description

Admin cum Accounts Assistant is responsible for maintaining financial records and providing administrative support to ensure smooth company operations. The role involves working closely with the Company Director.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle full set or partial set of accounts; auditing skills are a plus.
  • Liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Perform office administrative duties and undertake ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
  • Manage walk-in, telephone, email, and mail inquiries.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
  • Maintain the Schedule of Accounts and prepare weekly bulletins and materials for company advertisements.
  • Purchase office supplies and refreshments for meetings/events.
  • Maintain office filing systems and coordinate document processing.
  • Handle employee documents and records.
  • Perform general administrative duties and additional tasks as directed by the company director.

Finance Responsibilities

  • Count and bank cash and cheques received.
  • Prepare cheques and payment vouchers.
  • Post receipts and payments into the accounting software.
  • Prepare and post monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Print and file monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare and record sales documents such as quotations, POs, DOs, invoices, and payment advices.
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Must be a good team player, able to work independently, and demonstrate a positive attitude. Immediate availability is preferred.
