Job summary

Forte Engineering Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced ACMV Site Supervisor to lead installation works on construction sites. You will read drawings, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure activities align with project specifications and schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards.

You will supervise installation of ACMV systems, monitor progress, coordinate with engineers, consultants and clients for inspections, and document testing and as-built information.

Qualifications

• Experience in ACMV construction and site supervision.
• Able to read ACMV drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of ACMV equipment installation.
• Experience coordinating ACMV works with other trades.
• Strong communication and site coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and manage workers/subcontractors.
• ACMV technical qualification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate ACMV installation works at construction sites.
• Manage daily site activities per drawings, specs and schedules.
• Coordinate ACMV with subcontractors, main contractors and other trades.
• Read and interpret ACMV shop drawings, layouts and specs.
• Supervise ACMV electrical system installation and equipment.
• Monitor workmanship to meet project quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate approvals with consultants.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and equipment.
• Identify issues and coordinate rectification works.
• Assist with testing and commissioning of ACMV systems.
• Ensure documentation of inspection and testing records.
• Enforce safety procedures and attend site meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Project Manager or Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinateACMV (Air-Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation)installation works at construction sites.
• Manage daily site activities and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, workers, main contractors and other trades to ensure smooth progress of ACMV works.
• Read and interpret ACMV shop drawings, layouts and specifications.
• Supervise installation of ACMV electrical system and other ACMV equipment.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants, engineers and clients for inspections and approvals.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials and equipment requirements.
• Identify site issues, coordinate rectification works and resolve installation problems.
• Assist with testing, commissioning of ACMV systems.
• Ensure proper documentation of inspection records, testing reports and as-built information.
• Enforce workplace safety requirements and ensure workers follow site safety procedures.
• Attend site meetings and provide progress updates to the project team.
• Perform other site supervision duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Engineer.
