Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.

invites applications for an Assistant Accounts Manager in Singapore to support the Accounts Manager and guide accountants and accounts executives. You will oversee preparation of financial statements, tax computations, and statutory reports, ensure SFRS and IRAS compliance, review work for accuracy, advise on accounting and tax matters, mentor juniors, and coordinate with other departments to deliver excellent client service.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years’ accounting experience, with supervisory experience.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA/CPA qualification preferred.
• Good knowledge of SFRS, corporate taxation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Accounts Manager in supervising and guiding accountants and accounts executives.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, tax computations, and other statutory reports.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IRAS requirements.
• Review work prepared by team members for accuracy and completeness.
• Advise clients on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth client service delivery.
