Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to handle full sets of accounts, payroll administration, and effective financial controls in a dynamic club environment in Singapore.

The role requires at least three years of relevant experience, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with MS Office and accounting systems. Prior exposure to payroll and AR/AP processes is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Familiarity with payroll, AR/AP and financial reconciliation.
• IT-savvy with MS Office and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare full sets of accounts, including income statements, balance sheets, trial balances, and tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Maintain accounting records, fixed asset registers, and financial files with proper documentation and backup.
• Support financial reporting, audits, and implementation of financial policies and procedures, including reports for Management, Social, and Sports Committees.
• Manage banking and cash handling activities, including bank deposits, reconciliations, cheque and bank transfer clearance, cash disbursements, cash advances, and petty cash management.
• Support accounts receivable activities, including invoice preparation and follow-up on outstanding payments.
• Support accounts payable activities, including payment processing and follow-up on invoice discrepancies.
• Support payroll administration for contract employees, including timely payroll processing and CPF contributions.
