Job summary

Maritec Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned finance professional to oversee end-to-end AP, AR, fixed assets and inventory processes. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate three-way matching, and manage multi-currency invoicing for international clients.

You will drive month-end close, maintain data integrity, and liaise with auditors while improving processes and controls across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years handling full AP and AR functions.
• Experience with multi-currency transactions and multi-entity structures.
• Strong MS Excel and general MS Office skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage end-to-end AP process from onboarding to payment.
• Ensure three-way PO/receipt/invoice matching accuracy.
• Prepare and review regular and ad-hoc payment runs with proper approvals.
• Maintain supplier master data and verify bank details to prevent fraud.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle supplier queries and build vendor relationships.
• Process staff expense claims and corporate card transactions.
• Accrue goods and services received but not invoiced.
• Oversee AR: customer account setup, invoicing and cash collection.
• Issue invoices for testing services including multi-currency billing.
• Monitor customer credit limits and accept new credit apps.
• Lead credit control and monthly SOA issuance.
• Prepare aged debtors reports and improve AR days.
• Remit AR payments and reconcile bank accounts daily/weekly.
• Resolve billing disputes with operations, laboratory and sales.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation and disposals.
• Maintain fixed asset register and GL reconciliation.
• Oversee inventory accounting and stock movements.
• Support month-end/year-end close for AP/AR/FA/inventory.
• Prepare AP/AR collection, FA and inventory reports.
• Ensure GST/VAT withholding tax compliance.
• Maintain internal controls, audit trails, and liaise with auditors.
• Lead process improvements and automation in finance system.
