Job summary

16 WORLD PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant to manage the group’s full set of accounts, including intercompany transactions, AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.

The role involves preparing monthly management accounts, financial statements, and group consolidation reports, as well as budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis. You will support the CFO with reports and schedules under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• ACCA or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle the Group’s full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, billing, and intercompany transactions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and group consolidation reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Support the CFO and management with financial reports, schedules, and business performance information.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, prepayments, reconciliations, and related schedules.
• Ensure accurate accounting records and timely submission of GST, tax, audit, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and other external parties when required.
• Assist in improving accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting efficiency.
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned by the CFO or management.
