Job summary

NUNCHI MARINE PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Executive to join our Finance team.

You will perform daily accounting data entry, maintain accurate records, and support the Finance Manager with month-end closing and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or ACCA, at least two years of relevant experience, strong Excel and Office skills, and familiarity with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / ACCA or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiar with accounting software such as NetSuite will be an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to maintain accurate financial records.
• Able to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting data entry and ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on a timely basis.
• Prepare and post journal entries into the accounting system.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Review accounting entries for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in accounting records.
• Assist the Finance Manager with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare accounting schedules, reconciliations, and supporting working papers.
• Assist with general ledger reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules as required.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist in preparing schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Support accounting system implementation and process improvements.
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the Finance Manager.
• Perform other ad hoc finance-related duties as assigned.
