A Singapore-based accounting firm is seeking a qualified candidate for the role focused on processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, strong knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in financial software. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Process financial transactions: Recording financial transactions such as invoices, payments, receipts, and expenses accurately and promptly in the accounting system.
Maintain financial records: Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial records by organizing and filing documents, including invoices, receipts, bank statements, and other supporting documents.
Month-end and year-end closing activities: Month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and generating financial reports.
Accounts Payable functions: Processing vendor invoices, preparing payments, and managing customer invoices.
Accounts Receivable functions: Issuing invoices, credit note, and statement of accounts and collections.
Liaise with external parties for related matters
