Job summary

Knight Frank Singapore is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations and ensure the accuracy of financial data. You will lead a hands-on team, maintain internal controls, and support statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Accounting/Finance with at least five years' accounting experience, supervisory exposure preferred. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel is required, along with strong communication to work with

Qualifications

• At least Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with prior supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and local tax regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare accurate financial reports
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST filings and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory bodies
• Maintain strong internal controls and uphold compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Monitor and manage cash flow to support operational needs and financial stability
