Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an accounting professional to manage the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR and GL, and to process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and petty cash.

You will perform bank reconciliations, prepare journal entries, assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, and produce financial reports and management accounts.

A strong emphasis on compliance, tax filings, audits, and proper filing of accounting documents is required.

Accounting Functions

• Handle full set or partial set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL).
• Process supplier invoices, payments, staff claims, and petty cash transactions.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and management accounts as required.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.

Payroll Administration

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salary adjustments, allowances, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Calculate payroll-related payments in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Handle payroll submissions and statutory contributions, including CPF, IR8A, IR21, NS claims, and Government-Paid Claims.
• Respond to employee queries regarding salary, deductions, and payroll matters while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure payroll records are accurate and compliant with employment laws and company policies.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
• Assist with tax filings, SST/GST submissions , and other regulatory reporting requirements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting and payroll records.
• Undertake ad hoc duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
