Job summary

Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned finance professional for its Panasonic Connect Asia (PCOA) team. The role partners with business units, drives accurate financial statements, and supports month-end closes and audits.

You will manage cost controls, balance sheet analysis, and forecasting in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in accountancy with 10+ years in accounting, including supervisory exposure, and is proficient in SAP ECC and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy with professional accounting practice.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in accounting with supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as finance partner to business units and coordinate with stakeholders to support business decisions.
• Manage financial statements with high accuracy across activities.
• Prepare sales activities and cost provisioning for completeness.
• Oversee GST reporting, tax preparations and annual audits.
• Support month-end closing and ensure smooth closing activities.
• Monitor overhead cost allocations and cross charging.
• Prepare balance sheet items and reports; contribute to forecasts and business plans.
• Assist in XSAS reporting and audit support.
• Ensure internal controls and governance in line with policies.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and system projects as assigned.
