Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Finance, Accounting, ACCA or CA is preferred.
• Preferably 3-5 years of hand-on experience with full set accounting.
• Experience in real estate industry will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, self-motivated and proactive attitude.
• Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, working within a lean team who cover all areas of regulatory and financial compliance.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (Read, Speak and Write) as require to read documents in Chinese and communicate with our China colleagues in Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial record-keeping, and month-end closing support
• Prepare financial and management reports
• Prepare GST/indirect tax filings, support statutory audits, and coordinate documentation
• Ensure that accounting reports are in compliance with approved accounting and tax regulations, standards and practices
• Participate in budget exercise
• Liaise with business units, internal and external auditors, legal and tax advisors
• Assist on ad-hoc projects and tasks as required
