Job summary

far east management (private) limited is seeking a qualified financial professional to lead accounting close processes and ensure statutory compliance in SAP environments.

You will review financial statements, liaise with auditors, support management reporting to partners and authorities, and drive internal controls enhancements.

Candidates should have a degree in Accountancy, at least five years of experience, and proficiency in SAP and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with proven track record in process improvements and operational accounting.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial reporting activities to ensure compliance with accounting regulations, laws and standards
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities for monthly-closing in SAP
• Review financial statements, balance sheet account schedules and variance analysis
• Liaise with external auditors on annual statutory audits
• Support management reporting requirements to joint venture partners, government authorities and other stakeholders
• Analyse and interpret impact of new accounting standards, reporting requirements and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
• Strengthen current internal controls and improve Finance processes and systems
