Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain clients' full set of accounts from data entry to financial statements.
• Prepare GST submissions, XBRL filings, accounting schedules, and reports.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings for accurate financial statements.
• Maintain orderly filing for accounting and taxation records.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly with clear explanations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle confidential financial information professionally.
• Stay updated with Singapore accounting standards, GST, and tax regulations.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Executive to join our team and help deliver accurate, timely, and reliable financial services.

The Role

As an Accounting Executive, you will manage full sets of accounts for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with Singapore accounting standards and statutory requirements. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on accuracy, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys building strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain clients' full set of accounts, from data entry through to financial statements
• Prepare GST submissions, XBRL filings, accounting schedules, and other financial reports as required
• Perform periodic account closing (monthly, quarterly, and year-end) to ensure accurate and timely financial statements
• Maintain a systematic and well-organised filing system for all accounting and taxation records
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, providing clear explanations where needed
• Coordinate and follow up on tasks with internal teams and external stakeholders (clients, auditors, tax authorities) to ensure smooth financial operations
• Handle sensitive financial information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism
• Stay current with changes in Singapore accounting standards, GST, and tax regulations

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in full set accounting
• Prior experience in a Singapore accounting firm or corporate services environment is a strong advantage
• Working knowledge of Singapore taxation (GST, corporate tax) and statutory reporting requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, AI
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple client accounts and meet deadlines
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
