Job summary

A leading financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to oversee the closing of monthly financial statements and ensure timely completion of financial reports. You will manage GST submissions and operational flow of finance documents, as well as prepare cash flow reports. The ideal candidate must hold a diploma in accountancy and have at least three years of experience. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines, along with experience in MS Navision being a significant advantage.

Job description

• Oversee the closing of the companys monthly financial statements.
• Ensure timely completion of financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
• Manage quarterly GST submissions and other statutory filings, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Handle the operational flow of finance documents.
• Administer petty cash and claims, both locally and internationally.
• Manage all banking matters, especially trade transactions.
• Provide weekly updates on TR and inward bills reports.
• Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
• Reconcile statements of accounts for major suppliers and debtors on a monthly basis.
• Update project costing regularly.
• Conduct detailed analysis of monthly financials, including audit schedules, sales summaries, stock movement reports, and more.
• Ensure the smooth operation of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a diploma in accountancy or other relevant qualifications.
• At least three years of accounting experience.
• Experience with MS Navision is highly advantageous.
• Must be responsible and willing to work extended hours during financial closings.
• Should possess a positive attitude, be well-organized, and have a keen eye for detail.
• Able to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
